How To Get Into a Boxing Stance
8 Quick tips on how to get into a boxing stance are…
- Place legs about shoulder width apart
 
- Align heel of back foot w/ the toe of the front foot
 
- Put front foot @ a 45 degree angle & rear foot @ 45-90 degrees, relative to where your are facing
 
- Flex the knees, keeping body weight over the center w/ a slight forward body lean
 
- Stay on the balls of your feet
 
- Keep hands up, w/ rear hand close to chin & lead hand a bit forward
 
- Keep chin down & head behind the front foot
 
- Place elbows down, protecting the body
