How to Throw the Jab

Some tips are…

From basic stance, throw lead straight out w/ a natural arm twist (rotating the shoulder, elbow & hand)
Continue twist, ending strike of punch w/ the thumb facing the ground
Land w/ middle & index finger knuckles
During punch, keep chin down w/ opposite hand up & punching shoulder will naturally protect
Return punch on same path
Drops hips while bending knees during punch to add power
